  The owners are absolutely ridiculous and scam artists. They do not care about their residents at all. In the time I lived there, we never had heat, and were forced to leave for a night to stay in a hotel with our two dogs because it was only 50 degrees. They kept saying the heat was fixed, when it wasn't. They refused to actually purchase a new boiler, and instead provided us with a space heater for 1 night. They took the heater back to give to another unit, which later caught on fire. We also had raccoons in our attic whose pee came through ceiling. They just painted the ceiling. We were told there were mice in our walls, which they did nothing about. The wildlife guy told us this was NOT their first time in our apartment for raccoon and mice problems.
  
  We also had a bigot neighbor who harassed us repeatedly and falsified a police report regarding our chihuahua and Pomeranian. He attempted to get us evicted after discovering we are a lesbian couple. He made up numerous lies causing us to prove our innocence through video evidence, recordings, and my Fitbit to prove I was asleep during times when we were supposedly fighting and trashing our apartment. The owners did not care about us. They offered us an apartment that was worse than ours and wanted $25 extra per month. They said we were using the "gay card". We were scared to actually live and move in our apartment. We broke our lease early because we could not handle it.
  
  Also, they keep $125 from your security deposit to pay for carpet cleaning, which they are supposed to do no matter what.
